What stops you from living your dream life in the NOW (includes journaling prompts)

If there is this one thing I could pinpoint that takes us away from living your dream life in the Now moment, it has to be the belief in separation. 

That is the belief that your desires are separate from you. 

The belief that you are separate from where you desire to be. 

The belief that what you want is outside of you.

It is this belief in separation that makes us suffer with worry, fear, and doubt, no matter how hard we try or what we try to “manifest.” 

Feeling like the love, the abundance, or the peace that you desire is far away… And that you don’t have that which you want yet. 

But the truth, my love, is that this doesn’t actually have to be the case, 

Because separation is actually an illusion in the first place. 

You see… separation didn’t exist right when you were born. 

You were pure consciousness, 

Pristine awareness, 

Illumination in itself 

You may have even thought that the whole world is simply like a movie existing inside of you. 

It all felt like love. Moving, shifting forms, nurturing you and holding you. 

But this may have existed only for a brief moment…

Because soon enough, it starts to feel like we can’t take our desires for granted. Whether that’s for love, for food, or for freedom, it began to feel like we have to “strive” to earn what we want.

And so you become dependent on this reality and how people/ circumstances in this reality treats you.

And the world began to feel more and more separate from you… as you feel like you‘re “just” a person dependent on the world.

But the truth of the matter, my love, is that although this belief in separation may have served you when you were young, it only pulls you further away from realizing the truth of who you are. 

Yes, it may have “helped” you survive and get your needs met as a child, 

As in keeping you being on the lookout for when your mom is going to arrive or trying to figure out ways to act around dad so it’s “safe.”

But as the awakened soul that you are now, the belief in separation only keeps on perpetuating this reality where your power lies outside of yourself.

As in: 

• not being able to flow with life.

  Because when you think you are separate from other people/ outside circumstances, you feel like you have to be on a constant watch out for how other people would perceive you, judge you, or react to you. This makes it hard to express fully as you are, which makes it also hard to experience flow in your relationships and career. 

• not being able to trust life.

  When you believe that life is separate from you, it’s hard to trust yourself, what you desire, or what you do. These inner trust issues can also bleed into how you feel about other people/ relationships you get into. 

• not being able to BE with life.

  When you believe you are separate from your desires, you cannot be present with what is Here. Instead, you may live mostly in your head, thinking about the “next” thing to do or think of “what ifs” around your outcomes. 

• not being able to see your potential.

  My love, deep inside of you is the seed of the Divine that can create anything you desire. But when you think you are separate from your desires, you start to limit yourself in letting out this inner potential too… both in your relationships and career. 

All of which is this reason why if you desire to live every moment as your dream life (in not just when the external manifestations arrive but also in this present moment), it’s important to dissolve the wall of separation between you and life.

Which includes, the wall between… 

You and love 
You and abundance 
You and the Divine
You and all that you desire… 

When you no longer see the things you want as something outside of you, but instead as YOU, life will mirror back situations that reflect exactly that. 

Like in my own life, I’ve noticed that the more I deepen into the awareness that I have all that I desire within me, I began to naturally attract the right clients in the right time by simply speaking what lights up to me the most.

Or like in the lives of my clients where as they begin seeing the Infinite that lies inside of themselves, they begin to experience unconditional love, without needing to strive and control. Or experiencing deeper satisfaction in their day to day moments because now they aren’t trying to resist “what is.”

And the crazy thing is, when you start to see your desires not outside of you but actually within you, you will become so satisfied by what’s coming through you that you won’t even need much to be happy anymore… 

And that is the state of fullness that you are actually most longing for deep inside my dear.

The state of being where you are never far from the destination

Because You are the destination

That All is wanting 

And has it All

Below are some journaling prompts that you can take yourself through to deepen into the fact that your dream life can actually be experienced Now:

• What would happen if you finally receive your desire? What would happen internally and externally in your life?
  
  Note that “waiting” for your desires to give you these end outcomes is what is actually stopping you from experiencing your dream life now. In other words, the “wait” is what is causing the separation. But it is only when you let go of the “wait” that you get to experience all that you want.

• Why do you believe that your future dream reality is “better” than your current reality? Where did that belief come from?
  
  Note that it is also this hierarchy— i.e. “better” vs. “worse” that is also causing you to feel separate from your dream desires my love. But when you let go of the hierarchy and accept the Now as it is, you will begin to experience all the miracles that are available to you Now.

• How are you actually even MORE abundant/love/radiant than the desire in itself?
  
  Notice how the Source of all desires live inside of you and how it has always been accessible. And the only thing that is blocking you from receiving that Now is the belief that you don’t have that which you desire inside of you.
