Your life becomes so much easier when you learn to trust and follow your feelings, my love.

Feelings are like energy waves—energy in motion—and they have the power to carry you toward anything you desire. Whether it’s starting a business, building a successful career, finding the love of your life, or simply experiencing greater peace, following your feelings can guide you with ease and grace.

Let’s take an example: Imagine you want to start a business. If you follow the feeling of excitement about building something meaningful, you’ll naturally take inspired action. This approach is so much easier than getting stuck in a Google rabbit hole, endlessly researching strategies, or trying to figure out which coach to hire.

The truth is, following your feelings is better than any external advice or strategy. It’s not only liberating but also deeply aligned with your soul’s wisdom.

And in this podcast episode, I’ll share my personal journey of how I’ve made my life so much easier by letting my feelings guide me. I’ll also address common fears and misconceptions about trusting feelings—like the idea that it’s reckless or illogical—and show you how your feelings are actually powerful messages from your soul.

Why many high-achieving women struggle to trust their feelings

For many women, trusting their feelings feels risky. We live in a world that prioritizes logic and tangible results, and it’s easy to believe that feelings are unreliable or invalid. For example, you might fear that if you allow yourself to feel deeply, you’ll lose control or make a mistake.

This fear often stems from childhood experiences. Many of us grew up in environments where expressing feelings was discouraged. Maybe you were told to “be quiet,” “calm down,” or “stop being emotional.” Over time, these messages teach us to suppress our feelings and rely on logic instead.

But here’s the truth: your feelings are here to guide you. They’re like little love notes from your soul, nudging you toward what’s truly aligned for you.

Rediscovering the Joy of Being in Flow

Think back to when you were a child. Life was simpler, more playful. If you felt like dancing, you danced. If you felt like singing, you sang. You didn’t second-guess your joy or worry about whether it made sense.

That same freedom is possible for you now, even as an adult with responsibilities. By following your feelings, you can reconnect with that sense of ease and playfulness.

This isn’t just about lighthearted joy—it’s about alignment. When you trust your feelings, you naturally create a life that feels deeply meaningful. Whether it’s in your career, relationships, or daily routine, your feelings point you toward what’s right for you.

Feelings as a Bridge to Intuition

One of the most magical aspects of following your feelings is how they strengthen your intuition.

For example, when I coach clients, I often sense what they’re experiencing or uncover the root of their struggles simply by tuning into my own feelings. Many clients have told me, “How did you know? That’s exactly what I’m going through!”

This ability isn’t unique to me—it’s something we all have access to. Your feelings are your connection to your intuition, helping you navigate life in ways that logic alone cannot.

Why logical thinking can’t replace your feelings

In our goal-driven, logic-based world, many of us feel pressured to find the “perfect strategy” for success. Whether it’s business, relationships, or personal growth, we’re constantly bombarded with advice like:

  • “Follow these 10 steps to achieve XYZ.”

  • “Use this proven formula for guaranteed results.”

While structure and planning have their place, they’re not one-size-fits-all. What works for someone else may not work for you. That’s why it’s so important to listen to your feelings—they help you personalize your approach and find what truly works for your unique situation.

For example, as someone with a science background, I used to rely heavily on logic and analysis. But I realized that logic alone couldn’t explain the gut feelings I had in certain situations—feelings that always turned out to be right.

Healing Blocks Around Feelings

If you’ve ever felt disconnected from your feelings, you’re not alone. For many of us, this disconnection starts in childhood, when we were taught to prioritize rules and expectations over our own emotions.

For example:

  • As children, we may have learned that expressing big emotions wasn’t acceptable.

  • As adults, we often feel pressure to do what “makes sense” rather than what feels right.

Over time, these experiences create blocks around trusting and expressing feelings. But the good news is that these blocks can be healed.

What About “Negative” Feelings?

One common fear is that following your feelings will lead to chaos, especially if you’ve experienced depression, anxiety, or other challenging emotions. Many women worry that allowing themselves to feel deeply might pull them into a downward spiral.

But here’s the thing: Feelings are not your enemy. Even the heavy, uncomfortable ones have a purpose—they’re here to guide you toward healing and alignment. When you create space to feel your emotions fully, you allow them to move through you, rather than getting stuck in resistance or avoidance.

The Feminine Essence: Leading with Feeling

As women, feelings are our natural way of relating to the world. They’re how we connect, create, and align with our truth.

By learning to trust your feelings, you’ll notice that:

  • Your decisions become easier and more aligned.

  • You feel more connected to others and yourself.

  • You experience greater joy, freedom, and flow.
